美国大学房地产专业学制：
美国大学的房地产专业有一年制和两年制两种：一年制的专业主要针对有同行业工作经验的申请人;两年制的课程主要针对的是没有工作经验或者没有同行业工作经验的申请人。
按照学位的不同，一般可以分为MBA的方向下的房地产专业和MS in Real Estate, MBA方向是结合了房地产专业知识和相关企业管理知识，适合将来想从事管理类工作的申请人;MS in Real Estate 更专注于专业知识，例如房地产管理，房地产开发，房地产金融等，适合想要做专业从事人员的申请人。
美国大学房地产专业课程设置：
院系设置方面，房地产管理类一般会设在商学院;房地产开发多数会设在建筑学院，还有一些学校房地产专业相对多一些繁杂一些，也可以独立开设自己的学院。
从课程上来看房地产是一门大综合的学科，会计，金融，市场，法律，建筑，工程等等课程都有所涉及。这样一来对于申请人的一个综合背景要求就会相对较高，很多内容都需要在实践中才能够有所涉及。中国国内开设房地产专业本科的院校并不多，该专业的硕士申请热度不高也有一定程度上是由于申请人数量不多，能够相对对口的申请人较少。
例如：康奈尔大学的房地产硕士课程包括有Principles of Real Estate、Real Estate Finance & Investments、Real Estate Development Process、Design in Real Estate Development 、Construction Planning and Operations、Residential Development、Managerial Finance、Communication in Real Estate 、Real Estate Marketing and Management、Real Estate Industry Seminar 、Real Estate Industry Seminar、Concentration Requirements、Real Estate Project Workshop、Management & Leadership、Real Estate Trans & Deal Structuring、Real Estate Industry Seminar、Real Estate Industry Seminar、Real Estate Law。
美国房地产专业录取要求：
需要大学本科或者以上学位，相关的专业背景(不一定非要本专业)，TOEFL/IELTS当然是必备的(建议申请者提供TOEFL80以 上，IELTS6.5以上的成绩)，还有GMAT或GRE (视本专业所属学院而定，如果在管理学院通常要GMAT，如果在土地、建筑或城市计划学院通常要 GRE，而大多数情况下学校可以接受两种考试) 对于GPA，一般要求在3.0以上。
美国哪些大学开设房地产专业?
美国开设房地产专业的院校很少，并不像其他商科专业那样能够在选校上选出梯度。国内申请人大多为应届生，美国房地产牛校例如：麻省理工学院、哥伦比亚大学、康奈尔大学等都要求有工作经验，一般是要求3到5年的相关工作经验。
