恭喜王同学终获顶级寄宿坎特伯雷中学的录取！王同学6月份补录到该校，不得不说是个逆天奇迹，是留学美国网中美团队与孩子共同努力的结果！

给留美网这个补录加上“逆天”的标签，毫不为过：孩子找到我们时，一切的申请因素都处于被动地位。

时间太紧急：王同学妈妈与我们建立联系，是4月底，美国高中补录几乎已经截止，留美网的补录同学都陆续拿到了OFFER。

择校范围太狭窄：孩子的院校定位一定要在东部，一定要是寄宿中学。在补录的最后时间，院校资源稀少的情况下，真是大大的难题。

成绩不占优势：托福90，SSAT2100+，对于申请TOP70寄宿高中，真的不占优势.

学校于1915年创建，一直由罗马天主教管理，坎特伯雷学校是一所大学的预科学校，是一所走读与寄宿都有的男女合校。学校离纽约仅90英里，距哈特福德(美国康涅狄格州首府)45英里。学校形成了一种学术严谨，体育项目发达，艺术气息浓厚，发展教会精神的教育环境，学校以信仰天主教而自豪，学生们会参加各种各样且具有挑战性的活动。

学校特色：

学校许多学生修的学分都远远超过毕业学分。如果学生需要，学校还会给他们安排特别的课业辅导。另外学校对于学生的人文发展也非常重视，在音乐、戏剧、美术、艺术等方面有许多课程资源可以利用。学校在这方面的硬件设施也非常齐全，还会为学生举办个人画展。每年学校都有乐团演奏，学生自己也会策划不少的音乐艺术方面的活动。
