马里兰州走读私立学校排名

马里兰州位于美国东北部，西岸大河有詹姆斯河及波托马克河。北部为湾头，有萨斯奎哈纳河注入。并有一条长30公里的运河，通过特拉华州北部直达特拉华河下游。自然资源丰富，有大量木材。森林及疏林占州面积的40%。以硬木为主，适于制作家具。主要树木有橡树和山胡桃木。沿岸平原多松林。矿产主要有煤，藏量达4亿吨。
马里兰州是以英王查理一世之妻玛丽亚皇后之名命名。此地早期为阿尔衮琴族和易洛魁族印第安人的居住地。1634年英国第一批移民在圣玛丽斯定居。1774年一艘满载茶叶的英国船“培基斯特瓦特”号被安纳波利斯居民烧毁。1788年4月28日承认联邦宪法，并加入联邦，为第7州。
